MEDIATE WITH US

Our Mediation Services are provided in Florida, California and within the International legal framework. We are Circuit Court Mediators certified by the Florida Supreme Court and have experience in domestic and cross-border negotiations, mediations and litigations.

Our goal and approach is to bring a tremendous
amount of positive energy
to the mediation table and find the most appropriate solution for the mediation participants. We believe we can often obtain a resolution with patience and a thorough understanding of the parties’ interests, objectives, desires and legal claims. We understand that a general approach is no approach at all and aim at providing a cost-effective mediation that is responsive to each of its participants. While we encourage and prefer face-to-face mediations, we also provide online mediations where the mediation has an international focus.

WHAT IS MEDIATION?

Mediation is a cost-effective Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanism used instead of or to help advance in-court litigation more efficiently. It is a form of  dispute resolution based on concepts of communication, negotiation, facilitation, and problem‐solving. Through it, parties voluntarily express their interests and objectives. Mediation can resolve a case or help parties better understand the claims and elements of a case. The mediator’s role is to facilitate the discussion of the issues, claims, objectives, circumstances and interests of the parties. The mediator has no power to bind the parties and does not judge the parties, but must maintain a complete impartiality throughout the process.

CONFIDENTIALITY IN MEDIATION

One of the most important elements of mediation is its confidential aspect. In fact, all information revealed during mediation remains confidential, except where disclosure is required or permitted by law or is agreed to by all parties.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF MEDIATION?

  • Non-adversarial conflict resolution system
  • Cost-effective and quicker resolution
  • Parties are in charge of the mediation process, decision and resolution
  • Detailed and formal agreements in a non-aggressive, more relaxing environment
